Seattle has always produced hidden gems and Barbara Earl Thomas is one of them. A native of Seattle, Thomas is an artist extraordinaire. Now that businesses have been given the green light to open their doors, the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) is showcasing the work of Thomas and if I had to conjure up one word to describe Thomas’ work it would be illuminating.
